Who is DJ Encore?
Andreas Bang Hemmeth, better known by his stage name DJ Encore, is a Danish singer, songwriter, and DJ. He has been active in the music industry since the early 2000s and has released eight studio albums, as well as numerous singles and remixes. His music is a mix of dance-pop, eurodance, and trance.
Hemmeth was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1979. He began his music career in the late 1990s as a DJ.
In 2001, he released his debut single, “I See Right Through To You”, which became a hit in Denmark and several other countries. His debut album, Intuition, was released later that year and was also a success.
Hemmeth has continued to release music throughout the 2000s and 2010s. His most recent album, Generation, was released in 2014. He has also collaborated with a variety of artists, including LeAnn Rimes, Frou Frou, and Res.
In addition to his music career, Hemmeth is also a journalist and a political advisor. He graduated from Roskilde University with a degree in economics, and worked as a press officer for the Danish Social Liberal Party from 2010 to 2013.
He then served as head of press and special advisor to the Minister of Culture, Marianne Jelved, from 2012 to 2013. Hemmeth returned to the Danish Social Liberal Party in 2013, and has been head of press since then.
Hemmeth is a member of Mensa, a high IQ society. He is also a keen cyclist and a fan of football.
